A few last photo's of our last weekend of 2016.  It was a wonderful year.  For the most part the weather co-operated and we had snow.  The Village of Ashley loves to welcome so many people to our little village.  We love meeting so many people from all over the world.  We hope you had a wonderful time and that you'll come back again.

Santa got to ride the North Pole Express back to Owosso.  If you look at the window way to the left you can see Santa's hand waving.

4th weekend of 2016

The fourth weekend of 2016 finally brought us the snow that we wanted.  It really feels like Christmas now.

On Sat. it was snowing when the train came into town but then it cleared off and was a bright, sun shiny day.

Mrs. Claus was busy on Sat. so she got this little toy soldier to be her stand in.  And of course, Mom came along.

A little street entertainment.

Have you ever thought about how many thousands of pictures have been taken of the 1225?

If you want a picture taken by the train we have volunteers to help you.

Come and put a bell on our Believe Tree.

watching candy canes being made.  The picture was taken through plastic so it's not very clear.

On Sunday it snowed all day.  It was beautiful but very wet.

Three weekends are done.  It doesn't seem possible because it's flown by so fast.  We had good weather this weekend and a lot of people came out to see the North Pole Express.

There's almost always people waiting at the crossings to wave at the train as it goes by.

The elves this weekend had a cute routine they performed for the crowd.

Sometimes the whole family wants their picture taken with Santa.

Kids, don't try this at home.

Something new this year is the vintage photo booth where you can put on old clothes and get your picture taken.

Sometime's people don't want their picture taken with Santa.
